Getting started with RankForGEO

This guide walks you from first visit to a finished article you can review. Expect about 90 seconds for the initial website analysis, a few minutes for account setup, and longer for full article generation (which can continue in the background).

Before you begin

• Your website URL (the brand you want to grow)
• The market/country you care about most for search
• Optional: sample pages or notes that represent your voice

Step 1 — Enter your website

From the homepage or free audit page, enter your site and choose the market/country you care about most for search. That market drives locale (currency, etc.) for your workspace.

Step 2 — Create your account

Sign up (email + password, or Google) or log in if you already have an account. We collect your name so the product can greet you properly. No credit card for the free audit.

Step 3 — Free AI visibility scan (~90 seconds)

We map your baseline in Google and AI answer engines, then open the AI Visibility report for your new workspace.

Step 4 — Explore the report (soft prompt)

Read your baseline first. A soft banner reminds you to confirm niche and audience when you are ready to write — you are not blocked from browsing the app.

Step 5 — Confirm niche when you write

Starting New Article (or any Generate action) asks you to confirm niche and audience if you have not finished setup. That unlocks Research-to-Ready drafts. You can also confirm from the Home or AI Visibility prompt.

Step 6 — First article & publish

Optional voice samples sharpen tone. Then generate, review Trust/SEO/GEO scores, edit, and publish via Markdown or a connected CMS. Nothing goes live without you.

Common first-session questions

How long does article generation take?

It depends on topic complexity. You can leave the page — generation continues in the background and you will be notified when it is ready.

Does this use my article allowance?

Publish-ready articles count toward your plan’s monthly allowance. Check Billing for remaining articles and top-ups.

Can I use RankForGEO for multiple brands?

Yes — use separate workspaces (limits depend on plan). See the Workspaces guide.
