Getting started
Workspaces
How brands, sites, and team access are organized.

A workspace is one brand or website inside RankForGEO. Articles, topics, writing styles, CMS connections, site audits, and competitor lists belong to that workspace so client or product lines stay separate.
What lives in a workspace
- Articles, topics, and generation history
- Writing styles and knowledge notes
- AI Visibility runs, site audits, competitors
- CMS connections and most brand settings
What is account-level
- Your login
- Plan and payment
- Monthly article allowance (usage can roll up across workspaces on multi-site plans)
Switching and creating workspaces
Use the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. Creating another workspace walks you through site setup again so each brand gets its own voice. How many workspaces you can own depends on your plan; higher tiers may offer add-ons.
Who can change what
Owners and admins manage billing-sensitive and CMS settings. Members typically create and review content. Exact roles depend on how your team is set up — if a control is disabled, ask a workspace owner.
The in-app assistant can apply this guide to your site — scores, gaps, and next steps from your data.
